Starlit Mackerel

Starlit Mackerel is one of my many paintings on the theme of mackerel - the local fishing catch - swimming off the Sussex Coast.  This one shows a shoal of mackerel swimming by starlight with the cliffs of the Seven Sisters in the distance.

This painting is in acrylic paint  and glitter on deep edged box canvas varnished with a gloss varnish which really brings out the depth of colour and sparkle!
